So cool! Its great she's at the premiere of Madonna's movie. I know there's a bad feeling between Courtney and Madonna. But honestly I think it's something that's more created by the media than something that's real. They're my two favorite artists. They both get so much unfair criticism from the media and random unfair criticism from people on the Internet. In reality, they actually have more in common than they do their differences. Wish they could be friends and even do a song together.
the only thing they have in common is that they're both famous both are in music industry both have done movies and both are divas and icons...but thats about it other than that they're like the opposites of each other...courtney is fire madonna is ice..madonna is cold and calculated never tells what she feels not even when she sings can you guess what emotion she's having ...courtney is outspoken and raw...and courtney doesnt have a single crinworthy tacky or stupid song...madonna has lots of good songs but even more stupid and just plain aweful songs with lyrics that make you squint...madonna's not a real artist she's a smart hard working entreprenuer ...i like them both though but in a different way courtney is like my soul sister ...madonna is like something i like to read about study and sometimes make fun of but i like her anyways and admire some of her qualities
I don't think you've really listened to Madonna's music. You sound really ignorant. Madonna has plenty of emotion in her songs. Live to Tell has no emotion? Really?
And Courtney herself admits not all her songs are great! She doesn't like the stuff on America's Sweetheart. I think both Madonna and Courtney have some great songs, but they both have done songs that are less great. No one can come up with a brilliant song everytime. Sometimes you feel less inspired than other times.
Madonna and Courtney are both artists and businesspeople. It's not like Courtney is living in poverty, is she? She has beautiful clothes and a very expensive home in Manhattan. So she likes nice things and doesn't exactly starve for her art, does she?
You can't complain about people misjudging Courtney, when you do the same to Madonna.
I think it's sexist how you're not allowed to like two strong women and society always has to set women stars against one another.
Sorry I agree with the other poster. Madonna is not an artist. You can like her all you want but she makes music for corporate interests rather than making things of substance. There is no comparison Madonna doesn't come close to Courtney or Kurt. They have nothing in common Madonna is fake and Courtney says whatever is on her mind whether or not it's popular.
Also, this movie SUCKS. It got trashed by critics unanimously.

Glinda, I think you've hit the (dick)nail on the head, and I mean it's not like it's still '95 and she's throwing compacts. I don't think they maintain the rivalry so why should anyone else?

she is still doing interesting work and thank you for this website so we can find it. her venues are not always big so it is hard.....while it is easy to find awful gossip. my son is a few weeks older than Frances - that deposition sounds like an angry young person blowing off steam. and it was sealed, old. My continued wishes for them to reconcile. privately.
