Thanks for the interview. Melissa was gracious and kind, but I really don't get her point about Hole. She admits she doesn't want to do a reunion now but wants to work on her new album. If she really cared about Hole that much, she'd give up everything to do a reunion. I would feel for Melissa and the other former members of Hole if they were really desperate to reform Hole and couldn't find work. But they apparently are happy doing other things, so why not let Courtney just get on with Hole since they aren't really that into doing a reunion right now.
Melissa has a lovely voice, but none of her songs have really grabbed me.
Is there an official tracklisting for Nobody's Daughter yet? I don't see one on amazon. As long as Pacific Coast Highway is on there I will be happy. That is my favorite song ever!
I agree Glinda. Melissa is a lovely person, but after reading that article I am glad Courtney forged ahead on her own. I don't think this closes the door on a reunion with Melissa and Eric in the future at all - in fact I think it may even be more possible now that Hole is now functioning again. When it's the right time I think it will all come together.
Melissa probably doesnt care about Hole that much its been so long and she wasnt even on the first 2 albums, she added something to celebrity skin, that IT. All of the band members added something to Hole. But Courtney is the main rock star of the band.
