Interesting how he has no opinion on the product placement. I like it when, nearly wrote corkers, is more thoughtful.
I like Courtney Love's appearance but I don't think she should have her past thrown in her face in a mannner like, "am I suppose to answer that or what"? That is just my opinion.
The Interviewer was too weak and plain for Courtney Love. He even looks suprised to be conducting this interview! LOL He is probably used to boring people who come prepared with pre-approved answers, such as Beyonce, J-LO, etc. In any case, the new Hole record is AWESOME!!!!!!
Yeah wow... I'm almost offended for her. This guy doesn't seem like he knows too much about her... at all, and has no right to be asking her that personal shit. I'm so proud of her abilities though, watching "Beat" right now. I hope she comes back to the big screen. Such a personality man, and the new album is beyond amazing... epic
I love this site... and I love all you CL fans <3 <3 <3
oh my god that guy is such a fucking douche!! you can tell courtney thinks hes retarded... cause he is.
That guy is so lame...he comes off like he's trying to be all intimate and like a psychiatrist or something..probably hoping she'll break down in tears or something, I hate those kinds of interviews! I like that she stood her ground though and didn't give him what he wanted. Plus she looks awesome. So 90s Courtney. Love it!
So 90s ?
90s Courtney as in her clothing and style. At the moment she's looking like the perfect mix between her grunge self and her Hollywood self which is just perfect.
This. its like therapy even down to the crappy rug.
The interviewer is so stupid and intimidated by Courtney. LOL
I absolutly love how blunt and frightening she is being in this video it's so edgy, she is so clever at making an atmosphere
The interviewer "Toure" was completly asinine and Fuse was irresponsible in the photos displayed during the interview. Below I have posted the letter I just emailed to Fuse TV and I am trying to copy to Toure at his website however it is not going through:
Dear Toure,
I am writing in regards to your interview with Courtney Love shown on your program “Hole on the Record”. As a female who grew up in the 1990’s and was introduced to Ms. Love via her albums, “SNL”, “Rolling Stone”, “Spin”, and MTV (Kurt Loder) I was disappointed in both the interview questions and seemingly lack of respect held for the artist.
In an age where stars and art are manufactured and girls have to worry about needing a “back scoop” ala Heidi Montag, Courtney Love has brought Hole back and seeks to gain the recognition and artistic respect the band once held for more than a decade beginning with “Pretty on the Inside”. I believe it was her intent to go “On the Record” to display her past as a means to take her in to the future and showcase the art she is making now. I believe you as an interviewer had a tremendous opportunity to school the kids of this generation, who grow up jaded and starry eyed, of that of a true pioneering punk rock woman who has outlasted and outlived many of her contemporaries (not always in the most graceful way as Ms. Gwen Stefani) but has remained relevant as displayed in her terrific and truthful new album.
What viewers received however was a rehashing of her life which was detailed in a way of reminding both Ms. Love and the audience that she will never escape her past and thus will remain living in a shadow. The point blank, blunt questions asked to her such as requesting what her “last conversation with Kurt” was like, “How did she find out of his passing”, and “who told her” can be found in other sources and was disrespectful in the forum disguised as an interview to discuss her album. I was also shocked that Fuse would display the picture of his body in the greenhouse while interviewing his widow.
I hope that Fuse and “On the Record” requests for Ms. Love to return to show so that she may discuss her album properly as there are many fans who wish to see this dynamic artist discuss the details of this album and her hopes for the future.
Respectfully
That is why I was disgusted with the interviewer. He asked Courtney Love about the feelings of Kurt's death and it almost brought her to tears. It was uncallled for and Courtney Love shouldn't be blamed for anything! What kind of questions are those that he dared to ask Courtney Love? She is a professional entertainer and should be treated with respect and she was on fuse to discuss her album not her dreaded past. We all make mistakes but come on why should she take the blame and treated like a doormat? I hated this interview along, well, I have to stay on this subject because it makes me so angry for someone like that intervierwer to treat Ms. Love like nothing. She was beautifullly dressed and made up like miss america. That interviewer sucked shit and he needs new shoes. Please stop treating Courtney Love like a mental patient and look up to her for her artwork which Nobody's Daughter album has touched me in a personal way even though I am a male, it makes no difference. I would of got up and left the interview and refused to answer those personal questions because it seemed like she was treated like a liar on a witch trial. I love all of Ms. Love's albums and I do respect her. I hope people open their eyes and learn to love and not to hate. I hope I got my point acrosss because Courtney Love has played a big role in my life and I idolize her. With Love, Christopher Love
Very nicely said Anonymous. I hope you manage to get it through to Toure.
Courtney looks great in this interview. That guy does not even deserve to be in the same room with Court. He is ignorant, stupid and unkind. I wish she gets more of the respect she deserves for her beautiful mind. Look at her talking about product placement. She's so smart and educated. I went to College because of her music and 90s interviews....
I love how this asshole has no problem with product placement, but it's because he's obviously a fan of Lady GaGa. I thought his questions were tired, repetitive and rude, he clearly doesn't know who he's sitting across from but hey, we know and that's all that matters. He can take his songs about material wealth, getting laid, and silly laguna beach teenage drama, while courtney gives us songs that actually have meaning.
Wrong person to do the interview. BORING! Her Behind the Music on VH1 airs this week-THAT I want to see!
