I agree with Danny Boy about holerock; it's so controlled by her record company and 'thrown together'. This is the site for fans, real fans I hasten to add. Might call myself a purist in some respects, but Micko and Courtney go well together and he seems like a good guy, also not 'up himself' and warm, friendly by all reports. I like him. Anyway I'm off Eric since he came across all bitter about the new record. Melissa might not have been happy about it, who's to say, but she remained dignified and didnt seem to feel any need to be sarcastic, bitter etc.

hey "baby".it doesnt take a rocket scientist to write a few rock songs using d,c, and g. she plays good enough to write a good skeleton to a song then micho or whoever can add the meat. i never understood the fasination with courts writing process and guitar skills. we dont talk about joan jett and the songs she didnt write. she didnt write cherry bomb or i love rock and roll and thats fine. courts gets help with a riff and gets critisized by even her own fans. i play guitar and i play well enough to play on stage but for me its deff more of a song writing tool, many artists fall into that catagory of guitar players. it dousnt make them bad guitarist it just doustnt make them shredders. courtney is hole and just about every front man needs a prodigy to highlight your writing skills as an artist.
I saw her in Orlando last Saturday, and I thought she was dead on and looked/sounded great. It was cool hearing "Nobody's Daughter" and "Sunset Marquis"
