Micko is such a nice musician! I had a chance to talk a few words with him after the Milan concert and he was great! I'll bet this is going to be an amazing evening.

So... I was at the listening party at Angels and Kings tonight. Heard the whole record. Flowed great. All the songs were well sequenced. Loser Dust sounded great, much harder, full of non-stop lyrical ramblings. For Once In Your Life was AMAZING. Much more concise. It had a lot of new parts written in, and was overall much more acousticy. More guitar, less keyboards. Also... Letter to God and Never Go Hungry WERE the original demos we all have from the solo album. Letter to God had some re-workings with the overdubs and guitar parts... but it actually was NOT the clip you hear in the photoshoot video from Courtney's twitter. However, Never Go Hungry was the exact same version we have from the Linda Perry demos (not demos... it turns out). But overall the record was GREAT. The title track was epic. Micko was there by the way. Really sparse crowd. He just hung out and listened while it played. Wasn't much of an event... more so they just happened to play it in the bar while everyone was hanging out. Anyway... be excited!
